Law enforcement officers served a notice of suspicion on a doctor from Russia. During the occupation, he headed an illegal hospital in Kakhovka and openly supported the war against Ukraine.

This is evidenced by the suspicion of the Prosecutor General's Office.

The Security Service of Ukraine has served a notice of suspicion to 53-year-old Oleksandr Shylovych, who actively supported Russia's armed aggression during the occupation of Kherson region. He is accused of collaboration, public calls for a violent change in the constitutional order of Ukraine and justification of Russia's military aggression.

According to the investigation, Shilovich, a Russian citizen, took part in hostilities in 2022 as part of the private military company Wagner in Kherson region, and during the temporary occupation headed an illegally established hospital in Kakhovka. In 2023, he was appointed a deputy of the so-called occupation duma of the Kherson region, where he continued his public propaganda activities in favor of the occupiers.

He also systematically disseminated justifications for Russian aggression through public speeches and the media, and acted as the head of the occupation hospital, receiving material benefits from this.

The man was served a notice of suspicion in absence under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine: Part 6 of Article 111 - high treason, Part 3 of Article 109 - violent change of the constitutional order, and Part 3 of Article 436-2 - justification of Russian armed aggression through the media. He faces 10 to 12 years in prison and confiscation of property.

According to the Myrotvorets resource, Alexander Shilovich is a Russian citizen, born on August 1, 1972 in Minsk in the family of a military doctor. In 1997, he entered the military medical academy and continued the family business. Since 2004, he has been a member of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation.

He served as a deputy of the so-called "Kherson Regional Duma" and from May 25, 2023, to October 2, 2024, he headed the occupation of Kakhovka Central District Hospital.

During the occupation of the Ukrainian territories, he repeatedly published photos and materials from his "service" in the temporarily occupied territories, in particular in Yany-Kapu of Crimea and Beryslav district of Kherson region.

Also in Kherson, the court found guilty in absentia a former city council official who voluntarily sided with Russia during the occupation of the city and was given a senior position in the illegally created occupation administration.
