The strikes hit residential areas, causing significant damage. Two multi-storey buildings and six private houses are known to have been damaged.

One person died and five others were injured as a result of Russian aggression.

According to the prosecutor's office, on February 6, 2025, the enemy carried out 29 attacks on the territory of the Kherson region, using UAVs, FPV drones and artillery.

In Beryslav, a 46-year-old man sustained shrapnel wounds after an explosive was dropped and was hospitalized. In Antonivka, a 52-year-old man sustained a head wound, and another person was injured as a result of shelling in Dniprovske village.

The regional prosecutor's office has launched a pre-trial investigation into war crimes (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Meanwhile, in Kherson, a local businessman will be paid UAH 3 million to close windows and repair roofing after shelling at facilities owned by the city council.

On February 5, the municipal enterprise "Parks of Kherson" signed a contract worth UAH 3 million with private entrepreneur Viktor Khodykin. Representatives of the utility decided not to hold a tender, citing the order of the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Prokudin, which allows local officials to conclude contracts without tenders during the martial law period. This decision was made in connection with the enactment of the decisions of the Kherson Regional Defense Council.

As a result, the contract was awarded to Kherson businessman Viktor Khodykin.
