Russian Air Attack Damages Farms in Odesa Region - No Casualties Reported

Farms in the Odesa region were damaged by a night air attack by the Russian armed forces.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Odesa region.

"At night, the terrorist country attacked Odesa region with missiles. Farms were heavily damaged, and fires broke out on the ground, which firefighters extinguished until the morning. No one was killed or injured. The State Emergency Service involved 3 units of equipment and 15 rescuers, and the local fire brigade involved one unit of equipment and two personnel," the SES said.

The prosecutor' s office announced the launch of an investigation into the attack on the grounds of violation of the rules of war. According to the investigation, on April 18, at about 22:00, the Russian armed forces launched missile attacks on the civilian infrastructure of Odesa region. Farm storage facilities, agricultural machinery and buildings were damaged and destroyed.

In turn, the command of the Ukrainian Air Force also reported three destroyed Shahed-136 drones.

The fires and civilian casualties were also the result of an air attack on Odesa by the Russian army on April 14. The hits caused fires at several addresses, which firefighters extinguished.

However, the drones damaged civilian infrastructure, a warehouse, a service station, cars, and a medical facility. According to preliminary information, seven people were injured.

On the night of March 28, 2025 (from 18.00 on March 27), the enemy attacked with 163 Shahed-type attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones. As of 09:00, the Ukrainian Air Force confirmed the downing of 89 Shahed attack UAVs (and other types of drones) in the south, north, and center of the country. 51 enemy imitator drones disappeared from the radar without any negative consequences.

On the night of March 21, the enemy attacked Odesa and the region with attack drones. Three people were injured, including minors. As a result of the Russian attack, fires broke out in three locations. Local emergency power outages had to be introduced in Prymorskyi, Peresypskyi and Kyivskyi districts of Odesa. More than 70 rescuers, 22 fire trucks, as well as 5 volunteers and 1 unit of equipment were involved in the response.
