On February 28, the training base of the Chornomorets football club in Sauvignon was significantly damaged as a result of another air attack by the Russian Federation.

This was reported by the club's press service.

"Windows were smashed in the pool, the administrative building was also damaged, and broken glass occupied a large area on the territory of the sports and recreation complex. The cars of the club's employees and representatives were damaged - we should not forget that it was the evening of the club's arrival at the base on the eve of the important game of the UPL Round 19 against FC Livyi Bereh. The damage is to be assessed," the FC wrote.

None of the players, coaches or staff were injured. Most of the players and coaches stayed overnight at the base.

Meanwhile, according to the State Emergency Service, the attack also set fire to a one-story private house, trucks and cars on the territory of the enterprise. Firefighters extinguished the fires that broke out at the impact sites, but one person was killed and three others were injured.
