In Feodosia, a plaque to a soldier who died in the war against Ukraine was unveiled on the facade of the specialized school No. 2.

According to Crimea.Realii, this was reported by the Russian administration of the city.

"Igor Tishchenko graduated from 9th grade at this school. And after the beginning of the full-scale Russian aggression, he joined the ranks of the Russian army. The deceased was a private of the Akhmat special forces with the call sign 'Crimea'," the Russians said in a statement.

According to Krym.Realii, Tyshchenko died in June 2023. In general, Russian soldiers killed in the war are buried in Crimea and Sevastopol almost every day. As Krym.Realii found out, the number of confirmed identities of Crimeans who were killed in the ranks of the Russian army was more than 920 people. At the same time, the deaths of 30 of them became known in October 2024. Sevastopol was the leader in the number of "funerals" with 12 deaths. Of all the August obituaries, nine concerned the 810th Marine Brigade of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Almost all of its soldiers were killed in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.

As part of the so-called"autumn conscription," which began on October 1, Russia planned to forcibly mobilize 3,000 Crimean residents into its army. This is the 20th coercive campaign on the peninsula, which not only violates international law and the Geneva Convention, but also aims to suppress any resistance and change the demographic composition of the peninsula by recruiting men to fight an aggressive war against Ukraine.

Also, the Crimean Federal University named after Vernadsky, created by Russia, has introduced compulsory military training for all third-year students. In<span> the new academic year, a new module "Fundamentals of Military Training" (FMT) was added to the program for undergraduate students. As part of this module, "combat veterans and participants of a special military operation (i.e. the war in Ukraine - ed.)" will teach students to provide first aid, navigate the terrain without a map and "the basic provisions of the general military regulations."</span>

Earlier, the occupation authorities of Simferopol reported that they intend to build a military sports town to teach students military professions. The training will include field, sports training, maritime and basic military training. It is known that about 100 members of the Unarmy have already gone to fight in the Russian Armed Forces against Ukraine. Agitators from the military registration and enlistment office visit educational institutions and offer to sign a contract instead of military service in order to recruit "volunteers" and send them to the front. The propaganda is conducted during excursions and at public events with propaganda concerts.

The head of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people, Refat Chubarov, also stated that in virtually all Crimean schools, Russians are militarizing children by involving them in weaving camouflage nets for the Russian military.
