Rowers from Kherson brought home 23 medals from the Ukrainian Championships

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Kherson Oblast team won 21 gold and 2 bronze medals at the Ukrainian Rowing Championships in Kyiv. </span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Specifically, Alla Dmytryshyna won the women’s lightweight single sculls (WL1x), the women’s lightweight double sculls (WL2x), the women’s coxless pair WL2, the women’s coxed eight W8+, and the mixed coxed eight 8+.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Mykola Kalashnyk became champion in the men’s coxless pair M2, men’s double sculls M2x, men’s quadruple sculls M4x, and mixed double sculls 2x.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Oleksandr Ivanov took first place in the men’s coxless four (M4-) and the men’s coxed eight (M8+), and third place in the men’s coxless pair (M2-).</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Diana Serebryanska won gold medals in the women’s single sculls (W1x), women’s double sculls (W2x), and women’s quadruple sculls (W4x).</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Daria Stavynoga won the women’s double sculls W2x and the women’s quadruple sculls, and placed third in the women’s single sculls W1x.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Svitlana Frolova won medals in the women’s quadruple sculls W4x and the women’s coxless pair W2x.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>Tuanna Shehnen won gold medals in the women’s coxed eight W8+, the women’s coxless pair W2, and the mixed coxed eight 8+.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The athletes from the regional school of higher sports excellence were coached by Andriy Olefirenko, Oleksandr Bakarasev, Olena Olefirenko, Oleg Voloshchuk, Artem Morozov, andArtem Moroz.</span></span></span></span></span></span>

<span><span><span><span><span><span>The Ukrainian Rowing Championships took place on Matviivska Bay in Kyiv. The results of the national championships are recorded by the Ukrainian Rowing Federation, and the athletes then proceed through the selection process to join the Ukrainian national team.</span></span></span></span></span></span>
