The state program eRestoration continues to be implemented in Kherson region, under which residents of the region have already received billions of dollars in payments for damaged and destroyed housing.

This was announced by the Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Anton Samoilenko.

According to him, as of April 2026, the total amount of compensation paid is UAH 5.6 billion.

So far, the commissions have considered about 12 thousand applications out of 16 thousand submitted. Already 8 thousand applicants have received payments.

In particular

As Samoilenko explained, most of the payments are for damaged property, as the relevant part of the program was launched earlier. At the same time, Resolution No. 600 on compensation for completely destroyed housing came into effect later.

A separate problem remains in the frontline areas, where it is difficult for commissions to confirm the facts of destruction due to the security situation.

In total, as of April 2026, about 42,000 damaged or destroyed houses were recorded in the Kherson region, of which about 7,000 were completely destroyed.

As a reminder, the Kherson City Territorial Community held a meeting of the commission that considers applications for compensation for housing destroyed as a result of hostilities.

In addition, compensation for war-damaged housing continues to be paid in Mykolaiv. Over UAH 160.7 million has already been reimbursed to the city's residents under the state program eRestoration.

As previously reported by Intent, 671 housing vouchers totaling UAH 1.3 billion have been approved for internally displaced persons in Mykolaiv region.

IDPs can also get help with employment. Employment centers offer vocational training, retraining and support for starting a business.
