A local resident is suspected of producing anti-Ukrainian content that justified the occupation of Kherson region.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The post says that under the procedural guidance of the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office, the resident of the region was served in absentia with a notice of suspicion of aiding the aggressor state committed by prior conspiracy with a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 28, Part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In May 2022, the man organized the production of anti-Ukrainian content, which was subsequently placed on billboards in the regional center and the region, on the facades of educational institutions, institutions, and in public places. The content of the print was glorification of Russia and justification of the region's "accession" to Russia. The man also ensured the settlement and payment of salaries to employees in the currency of the aggressor country.

The pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the SBU Office in Kherson region.
