Reni City Council elects new secretary

Deputies of the Reniia City Council in Odesa Oblast have elected a new secretary to replace Oksana Yefymenko, who resigned.

The deputies decided that Ilya Kelioglo will now be the secretary of the council.

Ilya Kelioglo became a deputy of the Reniia City Council as a result of the 2020 local elections on the party lists of Gennadiy Trukhanov 's political force "Trust the Deeds". In the same year, he ran for the position of Reniia mayor, but the current head of the community, Ihor Plekhov, won among six candidates.

Prior to his election as City Council Secretary, Ilya Kelioglo headed the Standing Committee on Humanitarian Affairs. In connection with his new appointment, the deputies made changes to the composition of this commission - deputy Nina Kokosh became its new chairman. By the way, Oksana Yefymenko also became a member of this commission.

The MP's declaration for 2024 indicates that he owns two apartments in Odesa of 67.9 square meters and 72.6 square meters, and an apartment in Reni of 67.9 square meters. He also owns a 936-square-meter pharmacy in Reni.

The MP has two cars: VAZ 21074 made in 2010 and KIA K7 made in 2018. His income includes a total of 62.7 thousand hryvnias from renting property, and a salary at the Kateryna-K.-I. farm. - UAH 99 thousand 663. There is also a pension of UAH 20.8 thousand. There is income from his wife's business, but the amount is not declared - the family member did not provide information.

Oksana Yefymenko, who had resigned earlier, was elected to the position of council secretary in December 2020. She remained a council member. At the penultimate session, the deputies also considered a draft decision on the budget of the Reni community for 2026. Daniela Buzyla, head of the financial department of the city council, spoke on this issue. According to the document, the community budget revenues, including intergovernmental transfers, will amount to UAH 467 million 690.6 thousand. Last year, the budget amounted to about UAH 350 million.
