Work to restore an apartment building at 54 Pastera Street, which was severely damaged as a result of a combined missile and drone strike, has recently begun in Odesa.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa municipality.

Currently, the attic and third floor are being dismantled: damaged walls and internal partitions are being dismantled and construction waste is being removed. The next stage will involve the construction of new walls and partitions, the arrangement of floors, and the complete replacement of the roof.

The building was damaged on November 14 as a result of a massive combined enemy attack. The enemy struck Odesa region with two X-59/69 guided missiles from the Black Sea and attacked with 29 Shahed-type attack drones from the area of Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia).

The enemy shelling killed a 35-year-old woman who was sleeping under the window. 10 people were also injured. In addition, the main heating pipeline was damaged. As a result, one of the city's boiler houses had to shut down.

In April 2025, the Department of Municipal Economy of the Odesa City Council conducted a procurement and entered into an agreement to restore the common property of an apartment building with the Odeskolovpostach Repair and Construction Site Limited Liability Company.

The company expects to receive UAH 6 million 469.1 thousand for the work, and the work should be completed by December 31, 2026. Earlier, the company also started restoring an apartment building at 51 Novoselsky Street in Odesa, which was repeatedly damaged by Russian shelling, the last hit occurring in November 2024. This building is also being restored by the Odeskolovpostach Repair and Construction Site.

According to the YouControl service, the company was registered in 1998. It is currently owned by Oleksandr Fridman.
