After the illegal "elections", the man was declared a "deputy" of the Russian-controlled "State Council of the Republic of Crimea".

His actions were classified under the article on collaboration. The sanction provides for up to ten years in prison.

Earlier, law enforcement officers submitted to the court an indictment against the commander of an illegal armed group in a village of the occupied peninsula.
