An accident on the main water supply network in Odesa led to a water cut-off to consumers in the Prymorskyi district.

This was reported by the press service of Infoksvodokanal.

Odesa residents of Prymorskyi district will not have water supply until approximately 18:00. There may also be a partial decrease in pressure on some streets of Khadzhibeysky district.

On January 23, a large-scale water supply shutdown was also planned in Odesa and the region due to emergency and scheduled repairs. Specialists worked to fix the technical problems and water supply was restored by the evening.

Due to the repair work carried out by power engineers, there were also temporary interruptions in water supply in some areas of Odesa on January 22. During the works, powerful water utility facilities were periodically shut down, which affected the water supply pressure in different parts of the network.

It should be noted that some residents of Odesa have been experiencing power outages since January 19, and the electricity supply was restored only on January 23. On the night of January 19, Russian terrorists attacked Odesa region with drone strikes, causing damage to residential, power and gas infrastructure. In Odesa, as a result of the nighttime attack, residential buildings and infrastructure were damaged. The blast wave shattered the windows of commercial buildings and a car dealership. There were no casualties in the town. As a result of the strike, 30,800 families were left without electricity.

Also, since December 31, public electric transport has not been running in Odesa due to a power shortage. Trams and trolleybuses have been partially replaced by buses sent to the city by other Ukrainian cities, including Mykolaiv, Lviv, Zhytomyr, Dnipro, Bila Tserkva and even the Mariupol community.
