The property of Novokakhovka Processed Cheese Plant has been put up for sale in Kherson Oblast. The auction is being held as part of the company's bankruptcy case.

This is evidenced by the data of the Ukrainian Universal Exchange.

The electronic trading system has announced an auction for the sale of the property of Novokakhovka Processed Cheese Plant LLC, which is in the process of bankruptcy. One lot is up for auction, consisting of 17 items of movable property: food processing equipment and vehicles.

The equipment includes packaging machines of various years of manufacture, a separator, clippers, a vacuum packaging machine, melting plants for food raw materials and cheese, as well as three Jungheinrich and Goodsense forklifts. Applications can be submitted until January 6, and the auction is scheduled for January 7, 2026.

The starting price of the lot is UAH 4 million 913 thousand, and the auction step is 1% of the starting price. To participate, a guarantee fee of 10% is required. The auction is conducted according to the English model, without the possibility of reducing the starting price.

The auction was organized by the company's insolvency receiver and liquidator, acting on the basis of a ruling of the Kherson Regional Economic Court dated December 9, 2021. At the same time, the debtor's property is pledged to JSC ProCredit Bank.

The announcement states that the property is located in the area where hostilities are ongoing, so the liquidator cannot guarantee safe inspection or safety of the equipment until it is transferred to the buyer. Potential bidders are free to decide whether they will be able to inspect the property.

Novokakhovka Processed Cheese Plant, located in Tavriysk, ceased operations in 2020. A few days after the company shut down, all of its equipment was dismantled and removed.

According to the mayor of Tavriysk, Mykola Rizak, about 200 employees had been laid off from the plant about two weeks earlier. The company itself was virtually destroyed: the cheese and butter shops were completely dismantled, and all equipment and machinery, including office furniture, was taken away.

It turned out that the owners of Novokakhovka Processed Cheese Plant LLC had taken out bank loans worth about UAH 20 million, but were unable to repay them. As a result, the bank seized the company's property and sold it.

The plant was founded in 1961. Most recently, it was part of the Milk Doctor company. At its peak, the company employed up to 400 people.

Previously, the Kherson Bakery, which was once one of the largest employers and taxpayers in the region, had been sold three times. Two previous attempts ended in failure due to the lack of buyers, and the company was officially declared bankrupt. As a result of the hostilities, its buildings were heavily damaged: windows were smashed in many rooms, and the roof and walls were damaged.
