A new police station has been opened in the Bilozerska community of Kherson region. Both law enforcement officers and the local fire department will work in the new station.

This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

As explained by Dmytro Butriy, First Deputy Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, the community is subject to enemy attacks every day, so the creation of such a unit is extremely necessary. Local residents will be able to receive emergency assistance quickly and have constant contact with law enforcement.

To ensure prompt response to calls, the police received a new police car that will be used to patrol the community and quickly arrive at the scene.

The local fire department was also provided with a special vehicle.

The UBA is confident that the new station will help to better coordinate the actions of police and firefighters, as well as ensure their presence in critical areas of the region.

Bilozerska community in Kherson region, located near the front line, is subject to constant shelling and attacks by Russian troops. Residents of the community face numerous challenges, including the destruction of housing, limited access to basic services, and the need to ensure security in a time of war.

During 2024, the community was subjected to numerous shelling attacks, which destroyed about 240 buildings and damaged about a thousand. In particular, on September 27, 2024, Bilozerka-info reported the complete destruction of 300 private houses.

Recently, while evacuating wounded civilians from Antonivka , patrol police officers in a police car hit an anti-personnel mine. The detonation damaged a wheel. A 32-year-old patrol policeman was injured, but his life is not in danger. Also in Bilozerka, a police car hit an anti-personnel landmine. This time, no one was injured.
