Police officers of Holoprystan district evacuated and provided first aid to a man wounded as a result of shelling by Russian troops.
According to the Kherson regional police, yesterday at about noon, the Russian military launched another artillery strike on the territory ofthe Korabel neighborhood. A 49-year-old local resident was injured as a result of the shelling. Police officers of Holoprystan district, who are currently serving in the neighborhood, and the investigative team of the police department No. 2 (Korabelny) of the Kherson district police department immediately arrived at the scene.
"The police saw a man with a chest wound. Law enforcement officers immediately provided first aid to the victim and evacuated him to the hospital without waiting for the ambulance to arrive. Every minute was important. Thanks to the prompt and coordinated actions of the police, another life was saved," the statement said.
In total, on November 15, 1 person was killed and 10 others were injured as a result of Russian aggression. Police investigative teams, rescuers and medics were working at the sites of enemy "arrivals" to collect material evidence, document and eliminate the consequences of shelling, and provide assistance to the victims. Law enforcement officers opened 17 war crimes proceedings.
Earlier, on November 12, two civilians were killed and another was injured as a result of Russian aggression. One of the victims was an 80-year-old resident of the village of Mykilske. On November 11, at about 08:00, the Russian occupation army shelled the village with artillery. The victim was in her house at the time of the attack.
The enemy also shelled a utility company and a local fire station, damaging residential areas in the region's settlements, including a multi-storey building and seven private houses. In addition, an outbuilding, a garage, an ambulance, and private cars were destroyed. As a result of the Russian aggression, 15 people were injured.
