Pervomaisk said goodbye to the hero

The funeral of Yaroslav Borovskyi, who died on October 31, 2024, while performing his official duties to ensure the defense of our country, took place in Pervomaisk.

This was reported by the Executive Committee of the Pervomaisk City Council.

The family, friends, acquaintances, combat sworn brothers, closest and dearest people came to pay tribute to the courageous son of Ukraine, a fellow countryman, a defender, and a loyal patriot of the Motherland. The burial ceremony brought together a large mourning community.

Relatives, friends, colleagues, military personnel and residents of Pervomaisk said goodbye to the fallen soldier on the central Taras Shevchenko Square.

Showing the highest honor and respect, with all due honors, a "living corridor" of memory, kneeling down and bowing their heads in grief, the community members accompanied the defender on a shield to his last journey.

The mayor and Pervomaisk City Council expressed sincere condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

Earlier, Intent wrote that thanks to cooperation with the USAID Project "Improving the Performance and Accountability of Local Governments" (GOVERLA), the Pervomaisk territorial community received a modern Truck Mounted Boom Lift.

It was also reported that a large-scale project to build a neighborhood for IDPs in Pervomaisk was estimated at more than three billion hryvnias. But there is no funding for it yet.

According to him, this project has been added to the DREAM system. It involves the construction of an apartment district in Pervomaisk, which will contain 26 residential buildings for temporary residence of internally displaced persons. In total, the project is designed for 1703 apartments, and its cost is UAH 3 billion 335 million.

The project is divided into four phases. The first involves the construction of five buildings with 338 apartments, which requires UAH 741 million. The second stage includes three buildings with 195 apartments with a total cost of UAH 368 million. The third stage includes 12 buildings with 780 apartments, costing UAH 455 million. The fourth stage envisages the construction of six buildings with 390 apartments worth UAH 769 million.
