The city of Pervomaisk, Mykolaiv Oblast, has started looking for a contractor to clean streets and maintain green areas along the roads. They are ready to spend almost UAH 5 million on this.

This is evidenced by the data of the Prozorro electronic public procurement system, according to the CPR.

The customer was the Department of Housing and Communal Services of the Pervomaisk City Council.

The tender was published on February 28, with bids accepted until March 10, and an auction in the format of open bidding with special features that provide for reduced deadlines for submitting bids and appeals is scheduled for that day.

Under the terms of the tender, the services are to be provided from April 1 to December 31, 2025. They will include a range of activities: from mechanical and manual road cleaning to grass cutting in green areas.

The total area to be cleaned will be more than 1 million square meters. The list of works includes cleaning of roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, cleaning of trash bins and maintaining order at public transport stops. Particular attention should be paid to clearing green areas of garbage and mowing the grass in a timely manner to maintain the aesthetic appearance of the city and avoid fire hazards.

The winning company will receive UAH 4.7 million from the local budget for cleaning services.

Mykolaiv is also planning to restore the city's amenities, including asphalt pavement and paving slabs. For this purpose, a tender with an estimated value of over UAH three million was announced. The customer is Mykolaivoblenergo Joint Stock Company.

At the same time, a tender was announced in the South Ukrainian Mykolaiv region to select a contractor who will be paid more than UAH 3.6 million for the renovation of a pedestrian road. The works include laying out shaped tiles and leveling the surface.

In addition, the contract for road cleaning in Mykolaiv may be awarded without a tender to a company often chosen by local authorities. The bid exceeded the procurement amount by only UAH 467. At the same time, this company has already earned almost 400 million hryvnias in public tenders.
