US Department of Defense spokesman Patrick Ryder said that after the US Congress approved $60 billion in aid to Ukraine in April 2024, Kyiv has already received 83% of the promised ammunition and 67% of air defense equipment.

This was reported by the press service of the US Department of Defense.

"Since receiving the supplemental document, we have spent nearly $3.7 billion on equipment from the Department of Defense's stockpile through 12 PDA withdrawals announced between late April and mid-October," Ryder said.

He noted that when the Pentagon withdraws equipment that is available from the stockpile, it is shipped within days or weeks.

"In addition, by the middle of last month, we had delivered 83% of the critical munitions we had committed to deliver from stockpiles to Ukraine, including 155mm artillery rounds, GMLR, Patriot, NASAMS, missiles, and more," Ryder said.

The spokesman added that the Pentagon has fulfilled:

"We've delivered hundreds of thousands of artillery rounds, thousands of armored vehicles, thousands of HIMARS and anti-tank munitions, dozens of artillery systems, significant air defense capabilities, including the Patriot battery, hundreds of interceptors, and dozens of other systems," the US Department of Defense spokesman said.

Ryder also assured that the Pentagon will continue to use available funds to "ensure that Ukraine gets what it needs to deter and combat Russian aggression."

Earlier it was reported that the chief diplomat of the outgoing US President Joe Biden's administration, Anthony Blinken, on Tuesday, November 12, went to Brussels for talks with European allies concerned that President-elect Donald Trump might leave Ukraine in the war with Russia.
