Temporary interruptions in water supply to parts of the Peresypskyi district of Odesa and Odesa district occurred after a nighttime Russian attack on the city and region.

This was reported by the press service of Infoksvodokanal.

They noted that the problems with water supply arose due to the lack of electricity at some Infoksvodokanal facilities. Temporarily, consumers of Luzanovka and Kotovskoye residential areas and the city of Pivdenne were left without water supply. The following settlements are also affected: Ilichanka, Korsuntsi, Krasnosilka, Svitloye, Oleksandrivka, Kryzhanivka, Lisky, Fontanka, Vapnyarka, Nova Dofinivka, Chornomorske, Zmiienkove, Hryhorivka, Novi Bilyari, Buldynka, Vizyrka, Bilyari, Sychavka.

Infoksvodokanal noted that due to the high capacity of the high-voltage pumping equipment, the use of autonomous power sources is not possible. Once the power company restores centralized power supply, water supply will be resumed.

Meanwhile, Odesa has organized the supply of process water to the following addresses:

According to the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, the enemy massively attacked Odesa district with attack drones on the night of December 12. Despite the active work of air defense forces, energy infrastructure facilities were damaged. Warehouses, an administrative building and a garage were also damaged. Fires broke out at the site and were extinguished by rescuers. There were no reports of fatalities or injuries.

The attack left a number of localities temporarily without electricity. Restoration work is already underway. Critical infrastructure is powered by generators.
