In Odesa, the founder and head of an enterprise pleaded guilty to cooperating with the aggressor state during the occupation of Crimea and received a court decision.

This was reported by the Center for Public Investigations with reference to the verdict of the Peresypskyi District Court of Odesa.

According to the case file, after 2014, the group of companies operated enterprises on the temporarily occupied peninsula, including Cranship, Transship-Agent, and Kerch Fregat Shipyard. The investigation established that during 2022-2024, these structures acted in favor of the Russian Federation, providing services of ports, marinas, pilotage, vessel positioning and mooring.

In 2023-2024, the director agreed on the transfer of material resources to illegal paramilitary groups in the occupied Crimea. According to the investigation, the company received more than 21.5 million rubles in profit and paid more than 690 thousand rubles in taxes to the federal budget of the Russian Federation, and in 2024 - more than 1.8 million rubles.

The only member of Transship-Agent was Transship, which transferred more than 2.4 million rubles to the budget of the aggressor country. The investigation established that these funds could have been used to finance the armed aggression against Ukraine.

The director's actions were classified as collaboration and aiding the aggressor state under Part 2 of Article 28, Part 4 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. On January 2, 2026, the prosecutor and the accused entered into a plea agreement. In court, the head of Transship confirmed that his activities were profitable exclusively for the company and himself, and not for the public, and fully repented.

The court took into account the nature of the crime, the defendant's personal data, lack of previous convictions, and positive characterization. The head of the company made a donation of UAH 100,000 to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The court approved the agreement, imposed a fine of UAH 170 thousand and recovered UAH 17 thousand 828 in favor of the state. The physical evidence was returned to the owners, the preventive measure was canceled, and the accused was released from custody.

And in early January, the company's property seized during a search related to collaboration and aiding the aggressor state was arrested in Odesa.

As Intent recently wrote, during a search on December 5, 2025, financial documents of Navisagro Investment LLC, which may contain evidence of illegal activities, were seized in the Shevchenkivskyi Business Center on Panteleimonivska Street.
