Outpatient clinic destroyed by Russia dismantled in Odesa region

Utility workers, with the participation of local entrepreneurs and residents, dismantled the remains of the building of the Vyshneve village general practice clinic, which was destroyed as a result of the Russian attack on June 5.

This was reported by the press service of the Divisional Village Council.

The village council emphasized that the decision to dismantle the remains of the building was made after a detailed study of the technical report "On the inspection and assessment of the technical condition of the building of the Vyshneve village outpatient clinic of general family medicine."

"We believe that a new, modern, modular building of a rural outpatient clinic will soon appear in a landscaped area, which will serve the benefit of the residents of Vyshneve village of the Divisional ATC," the village council said.

The outpatient clinic in Vyshneve village was opened in June 2020, and in May 2019, a construction agreement was signed with Greenwood Limited Liability Company. The company built the outpatient clinic for UAH 7 million 779 thousand.

On the night of June 5, according to the Prosecutor's Office of Odesa region, the Russian armed forces attacked Odesa region with attack drones. It has been preliminarily established that the enemy used more than 25 UAVs. It was then decided to provide medical care to the population through paramedic and obstetric stations. The jobs of the doctors from the destroyed outpatient clinic were saved.

The Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi District Prosecutor's Office of Odesa Oblast then launched a pre-trial investigation into the commission of war crimes. The doctor was not only working but also living in the outpatient clinic building, as was intended during construction, with her husband and four-year-old daughter, and they survived.
