Joint Stock Company Oschadbank has put up for a Dutch auction through the OpenMarket electronic trading system (SE SETAM of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine) the right to a monetary claim under a loan agreement with Ukrkava LLC and under security agreements (mortgage, pledge, surety) under this loan.

The main collateral under the agreement is a coffee production plant. In addition, a complex of warehouses with a land plot was pledged as collateral for this loan. Both facilities are located in Odesa region.

The starting price is UAH 258 million 541.7 thousand.

The lot is subject to an electronic bidding procedure with the possibility of reducing the initial price to the threshold level (reduction), which is UAH 60 million. The reduction step is: 1%.

"Oschadbank has become the first state-owned bank to put its claims under a loan agreement at a Dutch auction through OpenMarket. We support this decision, as auctions based on the principle of price reduction are more likely to interest potential buyers with experience in dealing with non-performing loans (NPLs). Moreover, the coffee plant is a really interesting offer," said Oleksandr Mamro, CEO of SE SETAM.

Date of the auction: June 10. Guarantee fee for participation: UAH 12 million 927 thousand 84.

A Dutch auction is an auction where the organizer announces the highest possible price for a lot and then gradually reduces it until the first buyer agrees to the proposed price. The lot is sold to this buyer. This is how the Dutch auction differs from the classic or English auction, where the price is gradually raised by bidders until someone offers the highest price.

In January 2022, the bank already announced an auction for the sale of these rights, and then the starting price of the lot was UAH 237 million 841.7 thousand.

In 2021, Odesa region attracted UAH 277.7 million in investments from the privatization of state property, the fifth best result in the country.

As of the end of December 2021, state budget revenues from the lease of state property in Odesa region increased by 12% - from UAH 300 million last year to UAH 335 million.
