One person killed in Kherson region by occupants' attacks over the day

One person was killed and four civilians were wounded in the past 24 hours as a result of shelling by Russian troops in Kherson region.

This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin.

According to him, Antonivka, Blahovishchenske, Sadove, Bilozerka, Veletenske, Dniprovske, Zorivka were under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery fire, Kizomys, Nizlumne, Rozlyv, Stanislav, Sofiyivka, Oleksandrivka, Ivanivka, Poniativka, Beryslav, Rakivka, Odradokamyanka, Osokorivka, Chervonyi Mayak, Novovorontsovka, Vesele, Kozatske and Kherson. A multi-storey building, six private houses and a car were damaged.

As a reminder, on December 28, Antonivka, Zymivnyk, Prydniprovske, Sadove, Molodizhne, and Ivanivka in Kherson region were under enemy drone terror, air strikes and artillery shelling, Mykilske, Bilozerka, Veletenske, Dniprovske, Kizomys, Novodmytrivka, Romashkove, Yantarne, Stepanivka, Beryslav, Odradokamyanka, Novooleksandrivka, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, Mylove, Vesele and the city of Kherson.

He noted that the Russian military had hit critical and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaged six high-rise buildings and 27 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline, an outbuilding, and private garages and cars. Several times during the day, the occupants fired at Kherson thermal power plant.

"Russian terrorists continue to ruthlessly attack Kherson CHP, a civilian facility that provides heat to half of the city. The worker wounded in another attack is under the supervision of our medics," the head of the JMA also noted.

According to him, a total of 9 people were wounded as a result of Russian aggression on December 28.
