One person killed and five others injured in Mykolaiv region due to Russian attacks

Over the past day, Russian troops continued shelling the territory of the Mykolaiv region, using FPV drones and unmanned aerial vehicles of various types.

This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv Military District Vitaliy Kim.

In Bashtanka district, the enemy attacked Horokhivska, Bereznehuvata and Snihurivska communities with FPV drones eight times during the day and in the morning of June 7. In addition, the Snihuriv community was attacked by Molniya drones.

As a result of the attacks in Horokhivska community, four people were injured: women aged 68 and 48, and men aged 59 and 21. All the victims were hospitalized. As of this morning, their condition is assessed as moderate, without deterioration. Four private houses, three gas stations and four cars were also damaged.

In Mykolaiv district, Russian troops attacked Kutsurubska, Halytsynivska and Ochakivska communities with FPV drones three times. A 64-year-old man was killed near the village of Dmytrivka as a result of enemy shelling.

In addition, a 23-year-old man was wounded near the village of Lupareve. He was hospitalized, his condition remains stable and of moderate severity. The attacks also damaged two cars.

Recently, the SBU announced suspicions to two Russian military officials whom it considers to be involved in a missile attack on the Mykolaiv Regional Council building in the spring of 2022. The investigation claims that the attack was carried out on a civilian facility with more than a hundred people, resulting in significant civilian casualties.

On April 3, Russian troops attacked Mykolaiv region at night with Shahed-type attack drones. A 65-year-old man was injured as a result of an enemy strike on Mykolaiv.

On May 10, in Mykolaiv district of Mykolaiv region , Russian occupants fired an FPV drone at a civilian car. Two local residents were injured in the attack - a 68-year-old man and a 63-year-old woman.
