One man killed in Kherson community due to Russian shelling

The community of Kherson suffered from enemy artillery shelling on the night of August 4 and in the morning.

Dniprovsky district of Kherson was under attack. Two women, aged 71 and 34, who were at home at the time of the shelling, were injured. They went to the hospital, where they were diagnosed with explosive injuries and shrapnel wounds.

This was reported by the head of the Civic Association Oleksandr Proskudin.

"Russian troops hit critical, transport and social infrastructure; residential areas of the region's settlements, in particular, damaged 10 high-rise buildings and 44 private houses. The occupiers also damaged a gas pipeline and private cars," Proskudin said.

1 person was killed and 5 others were injured.

In Voznesensk district, local residents attacked the military during mobilization - there are wounded on both sides. Police have already opened criminal cases and are investigating the incident.

On the night of August 4, the enemy attacked Odesa region again with attack drones and rescuers had to extinguish fires in both Odesa and Odesa district.

The fire damaged 50 trade pavilions, eight of which were destroyed to the ground. A large-scale fire was also extinguished in a dormitory that was not functioning. In Odesa district, a private house, whose owner extinguished the fire in his own yard, two buildings and two warehouses were damaged. According to preliminary information, no one was killed or injured.

The hottest spots remain near Kamianske, Stepnohirsk and the islands near Kherson. Russian troops have changed their offensive tactics. Instead of "meat" attacks, they are now using experienced assault groups.
