SBU materials help to sentence in absentia a collaborator who took a leading position in the occupation "government" of Kherson region to 10 years in prison

This was reported by the SBU press service.

The post says that thanks to the SBU's evidence base , the so-called "head of the Department of Labor and Social Protection in Kherson District" of the region , Tetiana Tritenko, appointed by the occupiers, was sentenced.

The court found the "official" guilty under Part 5 of Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and sentenced her to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property. In addition, she was deprived of the right to hold any positions in public authorities, public administration, local governments, as well as positions related to the performance of organizational, administrative, or administrative and economic functions for a period of 10 years.

According to the pre-trial investigation, in July 2022, Tritenko voluntarily cooperated with the enemy and received a position in the occupiers' "government". The collaborator helped to establish the temporary occupation of Kherson region, consolidate and strengthen the aggressor's power. In her "position", she organized the activities of the pseudo-organization she headed in accordance with Russian law, working out the instructions and orders of the so-called "Ministry of Labor and Social Policy". It is noted that for the "proper" functioning of the "department" the convict recruited employees among local residents. According to witnesses, accompanied by the Russian military, the enemy's accomplice called on citizens to side with the "new" government and threatened those who refused with the "basement". Tritenko created a "picture" of care from the enemy, inviting Ukrainians to receive monetary "assistance" in the amount of 10 thousand Russian rubles.

The pre-trial investigation was conducted by the SBU in Kherson region under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor's office.
