The private clinic Odrex Medical House has condemned the media's public disclosure of personal data of medical staff during the pre-trial investigation into the death of businessman Adnan Kivan.

The clinic emphasized that such actions put pressure on healthcare workers, violate the presumption of innocence and undermine trust in the healthcare system.

"Odrex Medical House is doing everything possible to support the specialists who save others every day - Vitaliy Rusakov and Marina Belotserkovskaya. A doctor has the right to an honest investigation and a fair trial, and a patient has the right to the truth, supported by facts, not emotions. We would like to emphasize that our doctors act competently, in good faith and in accordance with modern industry standards. Both in this situation and always, we make every effort to ensure the safety and health of our patients. The pressure we feel from various law enforcement agencies will not make us give up. We look forward to a fair trial and a fair decision," Odrex emphasized.

In turn, the founders and members of the oncoHUB platform called the court's decision to impose a preventive measure on Vitaliy Rusakov in the form of house arrest for 2 months illegal, biased and contrary to the principles of fair trial.

"The court, having failed to properly consider the case file and the arguments of the defense, effectively deprived the doctor of the right to defense and neglected the basic rights of a citizen. Such actions set a dangerous precedent that undermines confidence in justice and jeopardizes the entire medical community," oncoHUB said.

The platform's activists emphasized that cancer treatment in any country in the world with any resources does not lead to a 100% cure, and complications from the treatment of the disease can be fatal, which is a direct consequence of the limited resources of the patient's body with terminal cancer.
