The National University "Odesa Law Academy" conducted a procurement to select a supplier of acoustic equipment for the organization of the educational process.

According to the announcement published in the Prozorro electronic procurement system, the procurement was conducted in the format of an open tender with special features and there was only one participant.

In the end, the winner of the tender was an individual entrepreneur Oleksandr Lapenko, registered in 2021 in Odesa. If the deal is concluded, he expects to receive UAH 2 million 999.7 thousand.

He will have to provide these funds to the university by June 30, 2025:

At the beginning of the year, a scandal erupted around the university because of the intention of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to merge the Law Academy with Mechnikov Odesa National University. The staff of the law academy strongly opposed such a merger and went to court, and appealed to Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal to dismiss Minister of Education and Science Oksen Lisovyi. They also appealed the ministry's decision in court.

In March 2023, the Kyiv District Administrative Court partially granted the application for interim relief and suspended the order of the Ministry of Education on reorganization, and also prohibited the Reorganization Commission from dismissing employees of the Odesa Law Academy and its separate structural units until the decision in the administrative claim comes into force.
