In Odesa, the officials responsible for the readiness and support of resilience centers have been replaced. From now on, specific city departments will not only monitor their condition but will also be responsible for supplies, equipment, and operational preparedness.
The corresponding order was signed by Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa City Military Administration.
According to the document, the city’s district administrations—Kyivska, Peresypka, Primorska, and Khadzhibeyska—will continuously monitor the readiness of the resilience centers, which operate in district administration buildings and at municipal utility facilities.
The utility companies “ZhKS ‘Vuzivskyi’,” “ZhKS ‘Chornomorskyi’,” “ZhKS ‘Fontansky’” and “ZhKS ‘Porto-Frankivsky’.”
Separately, officials responsible for the resilience centers in protective structures have been designated. The Department of Municipal Services will monitor their readiness, while the “Service Center” municipal enterprise will be responsible for equipment, supplies, and operational readiness.
The changes also apply to emergency shelters in schools and other educational institutions. The Department of Education and Science will be responsible for ensuring their readiness.
At the same time, district administrations will be able to purchase and deliver food, drinking water, and other necessary resources to schools upon their request. Educational institutions must receive, account for, store, and use these supplies as intended.
Separately, officials responsible for emergency shelters at facilities operated by the municipal enterprise“Odesmiskelektrotrans” and the Odesa City Center for the Reintegration of Persons Without a Fixed Place of Residence have been designated. In the first case, oversight will be carried out by the Department of Transportation, and in the second, by the Department of Labor and Social Policy.
Supervision of the order’s implementation has been entrusted to Ivan Donchenko and Serhiy Krasilenko, deputy heads of the Odesa City Military Administration.
