One of the village councils in Odesa region has started looking for a supplier to purchase a vehicle to be donated to the army. They are ready to spend 1.5 million hryvnias for this purpose.

Information about this appeared in the Prozorro system on February 23.

The Department of Capital Construction of the Fontansky Village Council of Odesa District has announced a tender for the purchase of an MG T60 or its equivalent. The expected cost of the vehicle is UAH 1.5 million. According to the terms of the procurement, the pickup truck will be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine after its official acceptance.

The auction is scheduled for March 3 in an open bidding format with special features that provide for reduced deadlines for submitting bids and appeals.

The supplier must deliver the vehicle to Fontanka by May 31, 2025. The requirements for the vehicle include a diesel engine with a capacity of at least 1900 cc, four-wheel drive with a differential lock, a six-speed manual transmission, a double cab, and a payload of at least 800 kg. Other mandatory characteristics include the availability of modern security systems, multimedia equipment and a full package of documents for registration.

The winner of the tender must confirm the status of an authorized dealer or distributor, provide quality certificates, and a vehicle warranty of at least three years or 100,000 km. All costs associated with delivery are the responsibility of the supplier.

Earlier, the State Enterprise "Izmail Commercial Sea Port" purchased a minivan from the South Korean manufacturer Hyundai Staria for UAH 2 million 034 thousand by concluding a direct contract, i.e. without bidding. The port purchased the vehicle from the Odesa subsidiary of Basis Auto, the ultimate beneficiary of which is Oleksandr Kaufman, the brother of the odious businessman Borys Kaufman.

In addition, the Izmail port plans to purchase a garbage truck for UAH 5 million from a company owned by a deputy with Russian business.
