Odesa utilities plan to spend 2 million to cut branches broken by bad weather

Miskzelentrest, a municipal enterprise in Odesa, has announced a tender to select a company to pay for disaster relief services in terms of removing and pruning damaged trees and branches in the city of Odesa.

This is stated in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

The auction is to be held on February 3 with an expected purchase price of UAH 1 million 999 thousand 997. It is planned to trim 878 cubic meters.

It should be noted that the Center for Public Investigations has calculated that according to last year's decisions of the courts of first instance and those that have entered into force, at least UAH 1.9 million in compensation should be paid from the Odesa budget. The bad weather that raged in Odesa from 15:00 on April 20 and continued on April 21 brought down 15 trees and large branches in the city as of 10 am. It is also known that traffic on Primorskaya Street is temporarily blocked. A tree fell on the road in the area of Gazovyi Lane.
