Odesa higher education institutions surprised the organizers of the youth festival Brain Fest: "Summer of Ideas, which was held as part of the R&D Hub South project.

As the festival organizers Pavlo Lub and Oleksandr Hoffman told Intent.Insight live, they were a bit surprised by the participation of the Odesa Professional Lyceum of the Service Sector of the South Ukrainian Pedagogical University.

"When we were preparing, we expected that there would be only technological universities. We thought, well, now it's clear, there will be a polytechnic, a technical university, and they will all have projects. And then I read the winners and realize that these are, well, just completely different directions. In general, there were representatives of the maritime school itself, so there were different directions," the organizers said.

Three teams from Odesa educational institutions became the winners of Brain Fest:

According to the organizers of the festival, all the universities whose teams won the festival received cash prizes from the Odesa Regional Military Administration. The first place winner received 100 thousand hryvnias, the second place - 80 thousand, and the third place - 50 thousand. The money can be used by educational institutions to develop research, laboratories, etc.

The previous edition of Intent.Insight was devoted to the language issue. The host Valeriy Bolgan talked to Andriy Vagapov, a member of the Odesa City Council.

The previousepisode was devoted to how Kyivskyi district of Odesa is recovering from the air strikes. We also talked to the head of the administration and deputy Maryna Lozenko.
