The Odesa State University of Internal Affairs (OSUIA) has announced another tender for the repair of the educational institution.

The information is available in the Prozorro electronic procurement system.

This time, it is about the current repair of classrooms, a corridor on the 2nd floor and a stairwell in the canteen building under the letter "B", located at 4 Sabansky Lane in Odesa.

The works were valued at UAH 3.45 million, and the funds will be allocated from the state budget. The customer was the university itself.

Potential contractors have until April 11, 2025 to submit their bids. On the same day, the auction will be held in an open bidding format with special features that provide for shorter deadlines for submitting bids and appealing. The repairs are scheduled to be completed by December 25, 2025.

Earlier, the State Department of Internal Affairs selected a company to carry out major repairs to the first floor of the Dining Room building (letter "B"). The tender was held in the format of an open tender with special conditions. The only participant was Oleksandr Production and Construction Firm LLC, which offered to perform the work for UAH 3.3 million.

According to YouControl, the company has been registered in Odesa since 1991 and is owned by Oleh Makar. He also owns the company Pivden Gasification, which in 2024 almost received a contract for the reconstruction of school No. 39 on Uspenska Street.

This is not the first time that the university has chosen this company without an auction to carry out the work. In February, PGS LLC was awarded the contract for the repair of the stairwell for 1 million 400 thousand hryvnias without any competitors.

Also, in September 2022, Odesa State University of Internal Affairs entered into an agreement with Green Trading LLC that the company would complete the construction of the educational building of Odesa State University of Internal Affairs at 4 Sabanskyi Lane by December 25, 2022.
