Prosecutors of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office have sent an indictment to the court against the state registrar on the fact of unauthorized actions with information processed in automated systems.

As explained by the prosecutor's office, the registrar intentionally entered false information into the State Register of Real Property Rights.

As a result, the citizen acquired ownership of two real estate objects in Odesa, which were assigned to the Breeding and Genetic Institute - the National Center for Seed and Variety Studies of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.

The registrar acted on the basis of improper documents - sale and purchase agreements without notarization and any confirmation of the authority to alienate state property. These objects with an area of more than 200 square meters are state property. As a result of the registrar's unlawful actions, the state's interests suffered more than UAH 2.5 million in damage.

This is not the first time that someone has tried to steal the real estate or land of the Breeding Institute with the help of "black realtors" in Odesa. In March 2021, prosecutors of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office sent an indictment to the court against a state registrar suspected of unauthorized changes to information processed in automated systems.

She deprived the Breeding and Genetic Institute of the National Center for Seed Science and Variety Studies of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine of its ownership of real estate on Ovidiopolska Road in Odesa, with a total area of 78 square meters. At the time, the damage was estimated at UAH 800 thousand.
