The city of Odesa is looking for a contractor to overhaul the roof of an administrative building at 33 Tarasa Kuzmina Street (formerly Gradonachalnytska Street). The building is an architectural and urban planning monument of local significance, so the work should include restoration measures.

The relevant information was published in the electronic procurement system Prozorro.

The customer is the Capital Construction Department of the Odesa City Council. The expected cost of the project is UAH 6.13 million, which will be allocated from the local budget.

Applications for participation in the tender will be accepted until March 6. At the same time, the bidding is declared "with peculiarities," which may indicate a short time frame and a possible lack of competition.

The works are to be completed by April 30, 2026. The works include major repairs and restoration of the roof to preserve the architectural heritage and ensure the proper condition of the building.

Recently, Odesa National Medical University announced a tender to select a contractor to be paid for the restoration of the building in Valikhovsky Lane.

Meanwhile, in Odesa, employees of the contractor, Pylon West Limited Liability Company, have completed the restoration of a residential building that was damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation on January 1, 2024. The roof of the apartment building at 54 Akademika Zabolotnoho Street was damaged, which led to the inoperability of the elevator, heating and water supply systems, as communications passed through the roof.

In addition, Stroy-Invest-Group-7 LLC, which was the only bidder for the right to restore an apartment building at 8-B Shevchenko Avenue and the winner, has started work. According to the tender documents, the contractor is to restore the roof, walls and partitions, reinforce the building, perform plastering work on the facade, install stairs, etc.
