On Monday, December 15, schools and kindergartens in most settlements of Odesa region and in Odesa city will work as much as possible in a full-time format.

This was announced by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.

According to him, where this is not possible due to objective reasons, a remote or asynchronous format will be used. All educational institutions, according to the official, are provided with generators, fuel, drinking and industrial water. Whenever possible, meals are organized for children.

Meanwhile, water supply has been restored in Odesa, and critical infrastructure has been connected to the power grid. However, power supply has not yet been restored in most parts of the city. DTEK Odesa Power Grids' chatbot informed some residents that the power supply to their homes would be restored at 23:00 on December 16.

On December 13, the head of Odesa power company Serhiy Lysak said that the timeframe for restoring electricity, water and heat supply to Odesa residents is currently unknown. He noted that everything currently depends on the power industry, because without electricity it will be impossible to restore either water or heat supply. According to Mr. Lysak, by the end of the day on December 13, the administration will have some clarity on the restoration of the city's critical infrastructure.

Odesa and the Odesa region were attacked by Russian missiles and drones throughout the day, resulting in a largely lack of electricity and water supply in the city as of the morning of December 13. As a result of the enemy attack, all traction substations in the city were left without power supply, and trams and trolleybuses were temporarily suspended. Four people were injured in the shelling.
