On June 8, students of schools in Odesa region sometimes took the National Multimedia Test (NMT) for 9-12 hours.

This was reported by parents on social media.

Testing for graduates began at 10:00 am. However, due to continuous air raids, children were forced to constantly interrupt their work and run between computer labs and shelters.

The National Multisubject Test (NMT) is a form of bachelor's degree entrance examination for higher education in Ukraine, introduced in 2022 (along with the Master's Comprehensive Test (MCT) and the Master's Test of Educational Competence (MTEC)) due to the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. It is intended to temporarily replace traditional entrance examinations in the ZNO format.

In 2026, testing will be held traditionally in two sessions:

The main stage of registration for participation in the 2026 main session of the NMT began on March 5 and lasted until April 2 inclusive. Until April 7, registrants had the opportunity to make changes in their personal accounts (choose another subject of the additional block or change the location in Ukraine or abroad in which they wanted to take the NMT).

During the additional period of May 11-16, 2026, persons who were unable to do so for valid reasons during the main registration period and those who registered during the main registration period but were denied registration had the opportunity to register for the NMT-2026 during additional sessions.
