The meeting with Odesa political scientist and head of the regional branch of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine Anatoliy Boyko took place in the evening of April 16 in the city center.

As noted by an Intent correspondent, the discussion focused, among other things, on how the instruments of public participation and control actually work in Ukraine.

In particular, which of them allow you to influence decisions in the city without connections and why most people never move from criticizing and expressing dissatisfaction to action. It was an open, lively conversation without unnecessary theory, with the opportunity to ask questions and analyze the situations that concerned the audience.

Meetings dedicated to politics and civic activities in Odesa are held regularly, for example, in March, experts from the OPORA Civil Network also spoke in Odesa about their findings and observations on what the elections in Ukraine will be like after the war. The meeting was also moderated by Anatolii Boiko, the head of the Odesa regional organization of the Committee of Voters of Ukraine, who is also a regional consultant of the OPORA Civil Network in Odesa region.
