In Odesa, a court sentenced a man who forged an SBU ID. In this way, persons liable for military service could avoid mobilization.

This is evidenced by the verdict of the Kyiv District Court of Odesa.

In Odesa, the court considered the case of a man who set up an underground business forging SBU IDs. In exchange for money, he produced fake documents for conscripts so that they could move freely around the country and avoid mobilization.

The investigation found that the fraudster offered a "service" for $700 for each ID. He made a fake for the first "client" for $200 in advance, and later agreed on five more such documents with a total value of $3,500.

Law enforcement officers detained the offender when he was taking on new orders. In court, he fully admitted his guilt, explained that he committed the crime due to financial difficulties and repented. The man transferred 18 thousand hryvnias to support the Armed Forces to demonstrate his remorse.

The court sentenced him to five years in prison, but at the same time, he was released from serving his sentence with a probationary period of three years. He will be under supervision and must comply with the restrictions established by law.

Last year, a serviceman of the Podil RTC and JV repeatedly changed the credentials of citizens in the Unified State Register of Conscripts, Persons Liable for Military Service and Reservists"Oberih". The investigation revealed that 12 people took advantage of the illegal scheme. The official received $3,000 from each of them for the so-called services. According to the SBI, some of his clients have already been mobilized into the army, while the rest are wanted.

The employee of the recruitment center pleaded guilty in full. According to the sanction of the article, he faces a fine or correctional labor for up to two years.
