A resident of Odesa who spied on the "Rage" attack brigade and air defense was put in the dock.

According to the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, the man voluntarily cooperated with a representative of Russian military intelligence.

On his assignment, he collected up-to-date information on the location of temporary bases of units of the united assault brigade of the National Police "Rage" and the location of mobile air defense fire groups in the regional center.

To carry out enemy missions, he regularly walked around the city, where he covertly photographed military facilities under the guise of walking.

The informant transmitted the collected coordinates through drafts of emails to help the enemy adjust missile strikes and drone attacks. He was detained in August 2024 while performing another task.

The resident of Odesa was accused of treason. The case against him has already been submitted to court. The suspect is currently in custody and awaiting trial.

Recently, the SBU military counterintelligence detained a man in Odesa suspected of spying on ships in the Black Sea.

Earlier, law enforcement officers detained a 19-year-old man from the town of Tatarbunary on suspicion of treason. The spy was sending photos, videos, and coordinates to the Russians via messenger. In addition, he adjusted enemy strikes and confirmed or denied the data provided to him. To perform one of the tasks in Mykolaiv region, the suspect engaged his 15-year-old acquaintance.

In addition, Ukrainian special services exposed enterprises in Kharkiv, Chernivtsi and Odesa regions that supplied electronic components for missiles and drones to Russia, circumventing sanctions. Among the end users of the goods are strategic state-owned enterprises of the Russian Federation and enterprises operating within the structure of the military-industrial complex of the aggressor country, in particular JSC SpetsTechnoMash.
