A video showing military alert groups of the territorial center for recruitment and social support pulling the driver of a white Audi out of a car that had been involved in a traffic accident was posted on social media on March 20.

Opposite the Audi was also a red car with its front end smashed in an accident. The author of the video claimed that the TCC employees deliberately caused the accident to stop the car and used pepper spray to remove the driver from the car, and then took the driver and drove away - in fact, they allegedly fled the scene of the accident.

Instead, the Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support stated that the military were not involved in the accident itself - it happened when the driver of the Audi tried to escape from the alert group in his car.

"While carrying out alert measures at a mobile checkpoint, the driver of a white Audi, trying to avoid document checks, made a dangerous maneuver. As a result of these illegal actions, the offender collided with another vehicle, causing a traffic accident and damage to private property. The driver's attempt to flee the scene and aggressive behavior towards the representatives of the joint alert group forced the servicemen to use physical force to stop the offense and detain the person," the TCC said.

The regional TCC said that after the detention, the driver's documents were checked and it was found that he had been wanted for a long time for violating the rules of military registration.

The incident occurred in the Peresypskyi district of Odesa, where the military of the CCC had previously fired in the yard. At that time, the alert group was detaining a man who, according to the CCC, had left the unit without permission, and passers-by, not understanding, began to interfere. So one of the soldiers fired a starter pistol into the air.
