Odesa Telegram channels recently published a video in which a minibus catches up with and pushes a man on a bicycle, and then people in uniform get out of the car and, after a short fight, take the cyclist to the car.

In the video, people in camouflage use gas canisters against the man.

The video shows the cyclist being chased by two cars at once - a black Mercedes minibus and another yellow one. The Mercedes bumps the man, and then people in uniform from both cars attack him.

The description to the video stated that this was another example of the work of the alert group of the territorial center for recruitment and social support, which mobilized the man to the army in this way. The authors of the publication also emphasized that the man was simply hit by a car without asking him for any documents, so there is no reason to say that he was wanted.

The Odesa Regional Territorial Center for Manning and Social Support responded to the video with a message that they had started an investigation.

"A video of a conflict situation involving a citizen on a bicycle and a group of people in military uniforms is being circulated online, with allegations of possible illegal actions by military personnel of the Odesa Regional TCC and SP. We would like to inform you that in order to fully and objectively clarify all the circumstances of the incident and identify the participants, the management of the Odesa Regional Training Center and JV initiated an internal investigation," the regional training center said.

They also assured that if the involvement of the military personnel of the TCC and JV is proved, an internal investigation will be immediately conducted, the actions of the participants will be subject to a strict legal assessment, and the perpetrators will be punished according to the law.

Earlier, the Prymorskyi District Court of Odesa imposed a pre-trial restraint in the form of detention without bail on a 19-year-old man suspected of assaulting a cyclist, which resulted in the victim's hospitalization. He was detained because of a video recording of the detainee getting out of a minibus and pushing a man on a bicycle, causing him to hit his head on the fence and not be able to get up. The attacker and another person in black civilian clothes who came out after him get back on the bus and disappear from the scene.

Social media claimed that the detainee was on the bus with the military of the Prymorskyi District Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support. On November 8, it became known that the man had been detained.
