Odesa Regional Council to Discuss 22 Agenda Items on February 28

A regular session of the Odesa Regional Council is scheduled for February 28. The relevant order of Hryhoriy Didenko was published on the council's website.

The preliminary agenda includes 22 issues in six sections. In particular, the deputies will listen to information from the head of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office, Ihor Domuyev, on the results of the activities of the prosecutor's office of Odesa region in 2024 and the report for the past year by the chairman of the Odesa Regional Council, Hryhoriy Didenko. It is noteworthy that the report of the council chairman is published as an appendix to the draft decision, while the prosecutor's report is not.

The deputies will also be asked to vote for the further reorganization of several medical institutions, approve the list of jurors for the Saratskyi and Shyriaiivskyi district courts of Odesa Oblast, and consider four draft decisions in the block "On Jointly Owned Objects of Territorial Communities of Villages, Towns, and Cities of the Oblast."

In the land relations block, the deputies will be asked to vote for the termination of the right of permanent use of the land plot of the Municipal Institution "Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Pedagogical Specialized College" and its transfer to the municipal ownership of the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi City Council, termination of the right of operational management of the Municipal Institution "Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi Pedagogical Specialized College" for buildings and structures located at the address: Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi, Nezalezhnosti Street.

At the plenary session, the deputies will have the opportunity to vote on four appeals. These include appeals to preserve Ukrposhta post offices in Odesa region, to prevent and overcome significant negative consequences for Ukraine in the reorganization of maritime education and to prevent the liquidation of the National University"Odesa Maritime Academy", to nominate sailor Serhii Mishchenko for the Order "For Courage", III class (posthumously) and to appeal to the deputies of the Odesa Regional Council to support President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi.

As a reminder, the Mykolaiv Regional Council adopted a similar appeal at an extraordinary session on February 25.

Intent will traditionally broadcast the event online, which will start at 9:45 a.m. and will provide real-time coverage of the events.
