In 2025, 83 contracts for the purchase of New Year's sweet gifts totaling UAH 17.8 million were signed in Odesa region. In terms of spending, the region ranked third among Ukrainian regions, behind only Kyiv (UAH 44 million) and Kharkiv (UAH 27 million).

This is reported by the DOZORRO TI Ukraine project with reference to the analysis of Prozorro data.

The largest order was made by the Municipal Institution "Center for Financing and Economic Activity of Educational Institutions of Peresypskyi District of Odesa". It signed a contract for UAH 2.3 million with Krayina Vilnykh LLC. Under the terms of the agreement, the company is to supply 7,935 packages of New Year's gifts at UAH 288 including VAT for children of the district's educational institutions.

The Kyiv and Prymorsky districts also purchased UAH 2 million worth of sweets.

In total, Odesa customers signed contracts with Krayina Vilnykh LLC for about UAH 8 million, which is almost half of the region's total spending on New Year's gifts.

In total, in 2025, contracts for sweet New Year's gifts were concluded in Prozorro for at least UAH 208.7 million across Ukraine. The amount of this year's purchases already exceeds the pre-war figures: in 2021, UAH 171 million was contracted for New Year's sweets. At the same time, it is important to take into account not only the price increase, but also the increase in the number of children for whom the packages are purchased. These are internally displaced children and children of military personnel who have been killed, gone missing or are in captivity. The amount of contracts has also increased compared to previous years. Last year, UAH 157 million was spent on sweets, in 2023 - UAH 123 million, and in 2022 - UAH 91 million.
