Olena Pryhunkova, head of the accounting, personnel and archival work department of the city's engineering protection and coastal development department of Odesa City Council, is suspected of concealing property worth UAH 4.89 million.

This was reported by the National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption (NAPC) after checking the official's declaration for 2023.

Among the undeclared property were two apartments - one in the village of Kryzhanivka, Odesa district, purchased in 2022, and another in Odesa, partially owned by her son but used by the official. Also not listed were non-residential premises with an area of more than a thousand square meters in Odesa region and eight land plots with a total area of more than 450 thousand square meters in Mykolaiv and Odesa regions.

In addition, Olena Pryhunkova did not indicate in her declaration an expensive 2011 Land Rover Range Rover, a 2012 Scania R440 truck, and income from the sale of an Audi Q5. She also did not indicate her corporate rights in Tekhinvesttrade LLC and Agro-Patriot Farm, where she is the ultimate beneficiary.

The declaration does not contain information about significant amounts of money received on a bank card from individuals in 2023. The total amount of undeclared property and income exceeds 500 subsistence minimums, which is grounds for criminal liability under Article 366-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Although the official has already filed a corrected declaration, it does not explain the source of her considerable wealth.

Intent has already written about how Serhii Biba, a deputy of the Odesa Regional Council from the banned OPFL, concealed assets in his declaration and failed to explain his daughter's expenses.

In addition, the NACP found false information in the declaration of Yuriy Shumakher, who is a beneficiary of the Rostdorstroy road company and a member of the Odesa City Council from the Trust the Deeds faction.

Meanwhile, Oleksandr Urbanskyi, deputy chairman of the Odesa regional council, may be fined for failing to include an Audi car worth about UAH 5 million on the market.
