Odesa Mayor Trukhanov to Present First Live Report Since 2022 on March 15

On March 15, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov is scheduled to report to the citizens on his work in 2024.

This will be the first live report of the mayor since 2022 - the previous reports for 2023 are published on the website in text form, but there are no reports for 2022.

The text of the report to be presented by the mayor on March 15 has already been published on the city council website and consists of 102 pages. According to the Law of Ukraine "On Local Self-Government in Ukraine," the written report of the Odesa mayor is published on the official website of the Odesa City Council no later than seven calendar days before the event.

Among other things, the report states that:

• The amount of expenditures allocated from the budget of the Odesa city territorial community in 2024 to implement measures to repel the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and ensure national security, eliminate the threat to Ukraine's state independence and territorial integrity; promote the development of territorial defense units and volunteer formations of the territorial community of Odesa city is UAH 1 billion 415.5 million.
• 1,249 objects of the civil defense fund were inspected and registered: 354 civil protection structures with the capacity to shelter up to 78.2 thousand people (8%), including 108 civil protection structures of municipal ownership with the capacity to shelter up to 19.9 thousand people (1.9%); 895 simple shelters with a total capacity of up to 542.5 thousand people (53.3%).
• In 2024, the Odesa City Council received 64,856 citizens' appeals through the Department for Citizens' Appeals of the Odesa City Council and the Single Center for Citizens' Appeals (2.7% more than in 2023).
