Odesa Mayor Announces Scholarships for Gifted Art Students

Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov has signed a decree establishing a scholarship of the Odesa Mayor for gifted students of Odesa art schools.

This was reported by the press service of the mayor's office.

The Department of Finance of the Odesa City Council should allocate UAH 15 thousand per month from the budget of the Odesa city territorial community to finance the scholarship. In total, 180 thousand hryvnias are planned for the year, 1.5 thousand hryvnias per student per month. There are 10 students in total.

Earlier, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov ordered to award a mayoral scholarship of 1,000 hryvnias per month to 20 students of general secondary education institutions from January to June 2025.

Last year, at the end of January, Odesa Mayor Gennadiy Trukhanov also ordered a monthly pension supplement for outstanding artists in 2024 and scholarships from the Mayor of Odesa to gifted students of the city's art schools.
