Odesa Film Festival starts collecting pitches for the Film Industry Office section

The Odesa International Film Festival, which will become the 17th in 2026, has opened the call for applications for participation in the Film Industry Office pitchings.

The creators of feature films, documentaries and animated films that are at the Development and Work in Progress stages are invited to participate in the presentations.
Project selection criteria:

• The project must be a feature-length fiction, animation, or documentary film (running time of 50 minutes or more);
• For Development: At the time of application, the project must have a completed first draft of the script and 30% of funding confirmed;
• For Work in Progress: at the time of application, the project must have ready-made footage or be in the editing and toning period of production.

Applications will be accepted until July 1 without any restrictions on age, physical ability, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation.

The winning project of the Development presentation, determined by the jury according to the criteria of quality, artistic value and potential (national or international), receives a cash prize of 80 thousand UAH from Kyivstar TV.

The winning projects of the Work in Progress presentation will receive:

• A cash prize of 80 thousand hryvnias from the general partner of the Film Industry Office UPHub;
• Editing consultation for the film from the Tabor film company; $3.5 thousand for post-production services in Dolby Atmos and 5.1 from Cinema Sound UA Production.

Since the Film Industry Office section was established as a platform for professional communication, support and development of Ukrainian film projects and the film industry as a whole, as well as for the presentation of the Ukrainian film industry to the international community, projects submitted for participation in the pitchings of the Film Industry Office industry program of the 17th OIFF must be Ukrainian or co-produced with Ukraine.

This year's festival will take place from August 27 to September 4, and will be held in Kyiv for the third time. The competition programs of the Odesa International Film Festival will include the National Competition Program and the International Competition Program. There will be Pitchings within the Film Industry Office section, as well as non-competitive special screening programs.
