On Thursday, May 22, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the City Council will begin in Odesa.

The relevant information is published on the official website of the municipality.

The agenda includes more than 30 issues related to finance, communal property, healthcare, environment, assistance to war victims, city development, and changes in the names of institutions.

Among the key topics is a report on the implementation of the city budget for the first quarter of 2025. They will also discuss changing the names and updating the charters of institutions subordinated to the Department of International Cooperation, Culture and Marketing.

The meeting is planned to grant permits for the installation of new advertising structures and terminate the existing ones. In addition, the issue of transferring project documentation for the repair of two bomb shelters in the city center will be resolved. It is also planned to transfer property from the balance sheet of the city humanitarian center to other municipal institutions.

Particular attention will be paid to providing apartments to Odessans in different parts of the city, in particular on Akademika Korolyova, Buvalkina streets and Futuristiv Lane. Several decisions will concern compensation for destroyed or damaged housing as a result of hostilities.

The meeting will also consider the transfer of non-residential premises and buildings to the balance sheet of municipal enterprises: in particular, premises on Pavlo Zelenyi Street, Prince Volodymyr the Great Avenue, and Otrada Beach.

The members of the executive committee will also hear reports on the progress of programs on landscaping, energy efficiency, housing development, environmental protection, animal protection, and modernization of the urban planning cadastre.

On May 15, an extraordinary executive committee announced the dismantling of four residential buildings that had been completely destroyed by Russian shelling. The deputies decided that the dismantling would be carried out on Skisna, Agronomichna, Zadniprovsky and Mykola Borovskoho streets.
