The Odesa authorities focused on issues that directly affect the city's daily life: transportation, public property, and infrastructure maintenance. These were the key decisions made during the meeting of the executive committee.

This was reported by the press service of the Odesa City Council.

On January 8, at 11:00, a meeting of the Executive Committee of the Odesa City Council was held. The meeting will be broadcast online, so everyone can follow the discussions.

Among the main issues discussed was the acceptance of buses transferred from Zhytomyr to Odesa municipal ownership. In addition, it is planned to transfer the premises of the Odesa Center for Children and Youth Creativity "Eureka" to the use of the Municipal Communal Property Service. This is a non-residential building with an area of 752.4 square meters at 7 Kosmonavtiv Street, which was previously subordinated to the educational institution.

The Department of Ecology and Recreational Areas Development has submitted for consideration a project for the maintenance and reconstruction of the City Garden Park, a monument of landscape art, which will allow it to be maintained in good condition and develop the city's green areas.

Also on the agenda is amending the decision to establish a commission to monitor the readiness of temporary structures at 2-A Vladyslav Dombrovsky Street that provide life support to the population. In addition, it is planned to clarify decisions on permanent commissions that accept housing and communal facilities, pumping and transformer stations, heating stations and utility networks into communal ownership.

Another issue concerns the transfer of infrastructure and housing and communal services from bankrupt companies that are being liquidated to communal ownership. This will allow communities to receive and maintain the facilities they need without additional procedures.

In conclusion, the committee members discussed the calculation of the average cost of renting an apartment in Odesa per person for the period from October to December 2025.

Last year, the city authorities in Odesa introduced compensation for entrepreneurs who open or maintain the operation of invincibility points. Businesses will be reimbursed for the cost of generators, their maintenance and fuel, and will be exempt from renting municipal property for the period of martial law.
